Production, Fulfillment, and Wholesale Operations Associate

Kicheko is hiring for a part-time Production, Fulfillment, and Wholesale Operations Associate who is smart, hard-working, enthusiastic, systematic, warm, and sharp as a tack. This person has interest, experience, and passion for social impact business, product manufacturing, operations, and customer service. This person understands our mission to make well-designed goods that positively impact both our customers and our partner communities.

The Production, Fulfillment and Wholesale Operations Associate works with Kicheko’s founder on production of the company’s existing collection for online orders, events, markets, and wholesale fulfillment. The Associate is responsible for proactively learning product assembly specifications, assembling product, finishing, fixing product issues, packaging, boxing, and sending/delivering product to online customers and stockists. Position is responsible for cultivating positive relations with both new and existing stockists. Position manages and cultivates retail relationships by identifying ways to build and sustain relationship through regular communications, check-ins, notes, excellent product delivery, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product assembly
  • Wholesale order fulfillment and delivery
  • Online order fulfillment and delivery
  • Wholesale and vendor communications and relationship management
  • Provides Operational and office management support
  • Self-direct process and system creation and modifications to improve current operations with consult and approval of founder
  • Assist founder with creating effective processes to improve product delivery, business operations

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Available at least two to three days a week for a minimum of four months (position is approximately 18 hours per week)
  • Skills in jewelry-making: has 3+ years in jewelry production, making, assembly. Metalsmithing a plus
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about Kicheko Goods, creative work, product manufacturing, jewelry, and growing businesses
  • Excellent email etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to handle and act on numerous projects and requests, both immediate and ongoing
  • Graphic Design experience a plus
  • Learner-at-heart with a lens to improve processes and materials used for products, packaging, and operations
  • Confidence and courage to take initiative, self-start, and tackle any project
  • Initiator, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, resourceful, attentive to detail
  • Kindness, sense of humor, positivity, communicative

Shopkeep & Digital Community Coordinator

Kicheko is hiring for a part-time shopkeep & digital community coordinator who is approachable, smart, hard-working, enthusiastic, and sharp as a tack. This person has interest, experience, and passion for social impact business, retail operations, and customer service. This role understands our mission to make high quality goods that positively impact both our customers and our partner communities is a must.

The shopkeep and digital community coordinator works with the founder on running the shop/retail section of Kicheko’s studio. This position is actively responsible for learning about the brand, communicating our aesthetic and mission to customers, and running the shop during open retail hours. This position is responsible for engaging with Kicheko’s community online through our social media accounts and offline through in-shop interactions by responding to comments, queries and feedback in a timely, professional and warm manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Opening, managing and closing the shop
  • Running sales and packaging ensuring accuracy, timeliness of in-shop POS
  • Ensuring all products are merchandised in an aesthetic and clean manner utilizing space, light, and customer flow
  • Providing excellent, knowledgeable and warm customer service
  • Keeping shop organized and clean
  • Restocking product, packaging, and brand materials
  • Assist founder with creating effective processes to improve service delivery, customer experience
  • Preparing and posting content (products, shop scenes, events, campaigns, impact updates, etc) to primarily social media stories and secondarily relevant feeds.  
  • Managing engagement, communication and customer service with customers, community, fans and any inquiries made on Kicheko’s social media channels
  • Assisting founder with other tasks, photoshoots, and projects

Qualifications and Qualities: :

  • Passionate about creating excellent retail spaces, experiences and social impact
  • Excellent email manner, social media savvy, and communication skills
  • Learner at heart with a lens to improve processes and materials
  • Confident and courageous to take initiative, self-start and tackle projects as assigned
  • Affable, approachable, sense of humor, positive, communicative
  • Initiator, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, resourceful, attentive to detail
  • Ability to handle and act on numerous projects and requests, both immediate and ongoing
  • Graphic Design a plus
