Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair is the go-to destination for discovering unique, ethically sourced goods from independent artists and visionaries. Now in its 15th year, the fair connects consumers with rare products they won’t find anywhere else, giving them a shopping experience unlike any other. The Washington City Paper, the District’s premier alternative newsweekly, hosts the annual event that unites artists, makers, and creatives from all walks of life.
If you’re looking for that one-of-a-kind gift or shopping for something that can add a little personality to your home, Crafty Bastards D.C. is the place to be. It’s where you can strike up a conversation with vendors and learn more about their design and production processes. It’s where you can stumble upon unexpected gems and wonder how you ever lived without them. And maybe, just maybe, it’s where you’ll be inspired to get crafty yourself.
Join us for this month's Renegade Craft Virtual Fair.
We'll be on Instagram Live from 6p-8p EST (see timetable above for your timezone).
Our founder, Sarah Bayot, will introduce the brand, give you a tour of the studio, introduce a few new pieces, and answer any questions you have.
All vendors' application fees will be donated in support of the Black Art Futures Fund! Connect with artists and small businesses from around the globe by shopping their goods and enjoying their livestreams, all from the comfort and safety of your home.
For more info and to see the full slate of participating vendors, visit the event page here.
Join us on Saturday, March 21st as we virtually pop-up with Kaleidos, a beautifully and thoughtfully curated shop featuring a collection of vintage womenswear, independent designers, accessories and home decor. Founded by and curated by Amanda Lee, we are looking forward to experimenting and hosting a virtual shopping event where you will learn more about Kicheko and our founder, Sarah Bayot, will share a select set of pieces from the collection, available for purchase. These items are either one of a kinds, small batch, and available for a limited-time discount for Kaleidos x Kicheko attendees.
