Jewelry Care

Care Instructions

All Jewelry

To ensure lasting quality and to get the most wear out of your Kicheko, clean as often as needed using a soft, buffing cloth to keep plating in tact and prevent tarnishing. Apply light pressure on the metal components to maintain the integrity of the metal or non-metal material.

In the spirit of loving the skin you’re in, everyone has varying levels of pH, which may lend to some gold-plate or gold-fill pieces tarnishing, oxidizing or darkening at a faster rate than others depending on exposure. Please be mindful of this when wearing jewelry against bare skin or exposing pieces to conditions where heat/humidity is high and/or you might sweat.

Apply any cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, hairsprays prior to putting on jewelry to ensure that chemicals in these products do not damage or fade your Kicheko. Avoid exposure to water, especially salt and chlorine, as well as prolonged exposure to sunlight and sweat. We recommend removing your
jewelry before showering, washing items, working out, manual labor, etc. Store your Kicheko in a cool, dark place and away from direct sunlight or heat.
