[mini bud vase + floral bundle]

working with local ceramicist, Kuzeh Pottery, I wanted to create a piece that spoke to the intersection of the long winter, a season that can often feel dormant and simultaneously heavy, sometimes dark; while alluding to the promise of spring, a season that gives way to new life, color, vitality. a beginning.

hand thrown, every vessel was molded uniquely, hand glazed and fired three times. when looking inside the vase, you'll notice a drop of vibrant gold glaze within.

combining sprigs and stems of preserved mini daisies, gypsophila, eucalyptus, arrow grass, brunia, lily leaf and the occasional tallow berry, each bouquet has a distinctive style. florals styled by Kicheko.
